Qualifications:
In order to test an apply, all candidates are required to have a valid driver's license, a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent certification, and be at least 18 years old.
Special Requirements:
Before applying, candidates must successfully complete the firefighter entrance level test. Before being hired, applicants will need to acquire EMT or paramedic certification.
Miscellaneous:
Applicants will need to pass a psychological evaluation, medical examination, drug screen, and vision test. Applicants will also be subject to and extensive public safety background check.
